Camp Pittman is a native of Corinth, Mississippi. Camp graduated from the University of Mississippi with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. He has served as a field director for Mississippi Attorney General Lynn Fitch, Senator Thad Cochran and Bill Waller’s campaigns for statewide office. Camp also interned on the Hill for Senator Cochran and clerked at Barbour, Griffith and Rogers (BGR Group), a DC – based powerhouse lobbying firm. Following his time in DC, Camp obtained a Masters in Public Policy and Administration from Mississippi State University while working as a graduate assistant at the Stennis Institute of Government.
Camp obtained his Juris Doctor from Ole Miss in December 2020. During his tenure at Ole Miss Law, Camp served as a class Senator, Secretary of the Federalist Society and was a member of Phi Delta Phi Honor Society. Camp was also awarded Most Outstanding Student in Constitutional Law I and spent his summers interning for U.S. District Judge Neal B. Biggers and U.S. Magistrate Judge Roy Percy in Oxford, Mississippi.
After passing the February 2021 Mississippi Bar Exam, Camp worked as an insurance company attorney at a regional defense firm with 250+ lawyers. For nearly two and a half years in this position, Camp gained the experience necessary to build a strong and effective case against insurance companies. Most recently, Camp was one of twenty attorneys throughout the state selected to be a member of the incoming Leadership Mississippi Bar class. In addition, Camp is licensed to practice in all the courts of Mississippi and the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. Camp is also a member of Rotary and First Presbyterian Church.
